Add a job to vSwarm
In the vSwarm Web Control Center you can add new jobs via the Create new Job link in the left menu.
Adding a job
4 Steps to create a new Job.
- Name the job
- Select the application your job needs to complete.
- Upload a file to the vSwarm Server.
- Select the file that should be processed.
- enter the parameters available for the selected application
Now click on the "Submit" Button and you are done. Watch your job being rendered and download the results later. FTP is the best choice for downloading.

NOTES
- The maximum processing time for a job is now 60 minutes. If a frame takes longer it will be aborted.
- Minimum RAM for the Clients is 265 MB. In the future we plan to let you select how much memory your job needs. At the moment jobs are evenly distributed to all clients, so it may happen that frames fail if your job needs more than 265 MB of RAM.
- At the moment a job can contain only one file. If your job needs several fiels to work please tell us and we will implement this feature as fast as possible.
