Blender, vSwarm and Fluid
Ok, here a very short tutorial for using fluid in Blender 2.49 with vSwarm.
Set up your scene like you normally would, With a fluid domain and optionally fluid objects, inflows and outflows.
The important thing is to set the bake path to a relative path, e. g. "//bake/cube" (see the bake path in the fluid panel in the bottom right corner of the screen shot below). If you do not do this the clients will not find the baked files.
After you hit bake and all your files have been saved, activate "compress" on your .blend file, pack all textures and save the .blend.
Now use the compression tool of your choice (I recommend 7-zip) and create a zip file of your .blend and the subdirectory with your baked fluid files.
Make sure it does not get too big, more than 150MB will cause problems.
Upload this zip to vSwarm using FTP and follow the normal way to start a job.
I hope this helps, if you have additions feel free to edit this page.
The example zip file is attached. It is exactly the zip you can upload to start a job.
